Sissy Spacek's daughter, the actress Schuyler Fisk, has revealed that she once had the chance to reprise her mother's role from her iconic 1976 horror film Carrie.
Fisk, 40, shared with Yahoo! Entertainment on Thursday that she opted to turn down the reboot, also based on Stephen King's debut novel, saying that it didn't 'feel necessary.'Although Spacek, 72, had already received acclaim for her performance in Terrence Malick's 1973 film Badlands, 1976's Carrie turned out to be her breakthrough role and became one of the most acclaimed horror films of all time.
