The Maggie May rocker took to Instagram to share a festive snap with his 1.4 million followers where he stood in front of a huge Christmas tree which was beautifully decorated with red and gold baubles.
The singer stood beside the spectacular tree and in true Rod fashion, he donned a tartan waistcoat, with red trousers, a traditional Scottish sporran and some expensive Gucci rubber boots, which certainly put Santa's to shame!
Alongside the post, Rod penned the caption: "No Scotland no party#sporran#scotland#christmas#hogmanay." And many fans were loving his choice of outfit, however some say he should have went all out and donned a kilt.One penned: "Merry Christmas.
