Sir Elton John was all smiles at his first public outing since revealing a severe eye infection had left him with limited vision.The 77-year-old music legend gave a thumbs-up as he arrived at the Toronto International Film Festival alongside his husband David Furnish.The Rocket Man hitmaker was there for the world premiere of a documentary about his life.

Directed by RJ Cutler and Furnish, Elton John: Never Too Late takes a look back at the musician's illustrious career and shows him gearing up for his farewell concert at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles.

Sir Elton's appearance comes just days after he shared news about his sight on Instagram to his nearly five million followers.

He penned: "Over the summer, I've been dealing with a severe eye infection that has unfortunately left me with only limited vision in one eye.
