Amanda Louise Holden (born 16 February 1971) is an English media personality, actress, television presenter, singer, and author. She has judged on the television talent show competition Britain's Got Talent since the show began its run in 2007 on ITV. As an actress, Holden played the role of Mel in Kiss Me Kate (1998–2000), Geraldine Titley in The Grimleys (1999-2001), Sarah Trevanion in Wild at Heart (2006–2008), Lizzie, the Ring Mistress, in Big Top (2009), and the title role in Thoroughly Modern Millie, for which she was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award.

A single mum has laid out exactly how she cleared £16,000 of debt in just two years. Jackie Annett, 43, from Bristol, had built up up thousands of pounds worth of debt in her 20s as she socialised and dined out in trendy bars. “In my late 20s, my ex-husband and I were in £16,000 worth of debt," Jackie told Jam Press. "We worked hard, partied hard and shopped hard." But things changed fast when she found out she was pregnant with her daughter, Daisy, who is now 13. “At the time, I was eligible for £100 a week maternity pay and I just remember thinking 'how the hell will we manage?'," she said. “The first time I had a proper look at our debts I burst into tears.
