Single mum 'humiliated' after Tesco refuses to let her shop with two young kids

A mum says she was left "humiliated" after being denied entrance to a Tesco - because she was with her two children. Caroline Abbott, 30, was attempting to do her weekly shop in the supermarket in Fulbourn, Cambridgeshire, last Friday when a security guard stopped her for trying to enter with her kids, aged three and eight.

The mum-of-three called the experience "humiliating" and said she does not know if she can return to the store again. Caroline told Cambridgeshire Live that a security guard stopped her and asked where the children’s father was.
