Singer Example tucks into 'best roast in Scotland' before his Edinburgh gig
dailyrecord.co.ukExample popped in for the 'best roast dinner in Scotland' ahead of his gig in Edinburgh at the weekend.The Kickstarts chanter was playing at Edinburgh's O2 on Sunday night but couldn't possibly perform on an empty stomach so headed along to The Ox on Broughton Street for a bite to eat with his crew.Staff took to Instagram to share a snap of the singer with worker Kevin as the pair posed outside of the eatery, which was recently named one of the best places in the UK to get a Sunday Roast.
Posting the snap, they penned: "When we got a call from @example looking for the best Roast in Scotland before his gig at the @o2academyedinburgh we couldn’t have been happier to oblige.
Thanks so much for coming, great to see you all! #bestroast #example #legend #gastropubsccotland." Before Example took to the stage, his support act was Scots rapper Big Bemz.
The Ayrshire star posed ahead of the gig with Scots actor Martin Compston, who was also in Edinburgh for his Restless Natives podcast tour but was heading to the gig as he posted on Instagram: "Some weekend off to see@examplelove ye all me heartys."
