Singer-Actor Liamani Segura Signs With CAA
deadline.comEXCLUSIVE: Rising singer/songwriter/actor Liamani Segura has signed with CAA for representation. Sixteen-year-old Segura made her television debut as Emmy on High School Musical: The Musical: The Series in 2022, and is next set to appear as Red’s sister Pink in the upcoming movie, the latest installment of the Disney Channel/Disney+ musical fantasy movie franchise, later this year.
Segura’s vocals have earned her a record deal on the Def Jam label, as well as a lucrative publishing deal with Universal Music Publishing Group.
In celebration and support of CAA client Mariah Carey’s induction to the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2022, Carey invited Segura to perform seven of her songs at the ceremony.
She just finished filming the music video for her debut single, “Hanging by a Thread,” which is slated for release on March 11.
