Fans of The Simpsons have hailed the opening of four themed cafes in the UK - including one here in Manchester. The long-running animated sitcom has taken over Primark in The Trafford Centre, with further Simpsons cafes opening in Cardiff, Birmingham and Belfast.

Two further branches will open later this week, meanwhile, north of the border in Edinburgh and Braehead. TikTok user Melissa Frances has already sampled what the café has to offer and fans of the show will be delighted to know there's a variety of food on offer - including pink ring doughnuts famously enjoyed by Homer since The Simpsons became household names in 1989.

The shop cafe's are operated by The Immersive Cafe company, who penned in excitement: "Calling all Simpsons fans! Springfield’s favourite family have arrived at the Primark Cafes!

Check it out for all the treats! "Homer and his friends will be in Primark cafes for quite some time. So plenty of time to come and taste some of the scrummy delights.
