Simon Cowell
Simon Phillip Cowell (born 7 October 1959) is an English television personality, businessman and record executive. He has judged on the British television talent competition series Pop Idol (2001–2003), The X Factor (2004–2010, 2014–present) and Britain's Got Talent (2007–present), and the American television talent competition series American Idol (2002–2010), The X Factor (2011–2013), and America's Got Talent (2016–present). Cowell is the principal, founder and chief executive of the British entertainment company Syco.

As the son of a millionaire you might think Simon Cowell’s little boy Eric would be awash with all the latest technology. Afterall, many 10-year-olds have their own computers and online gaming consoles not to mention phones.

But the dark haired youngster, who is now 10, follows strict household rules when it comes to social media. “He doesn’t have a mobile phone but a lot of his friends do.

I don’t have one and haven’t for about seven or eight years either, so that makes it easier,” explains Simon in an exclusive chat with OK!. “I am very careful with him and social media.

Like every parent I am very conscious of it and how we protect our kids around it. I would never let him loose on an iPad or computer without supervision - I would just be too nervous." Instead, the X Factor supremo reveals the father and son enjoy more traditional pursuits together. “We play footie together - he is an Arsenal fan - and we have a couple of pinball machines.
