Simon Cowell
Simon Phillip Cowell (born 7 October 1959) is an English television personality, businessman and record executive. He has judged on the British television talent competition series Pop Idol (2001–2003), The X Factor (2004–2010, 2014–present) and Britain's Got Talent (2007–present), and the American television talent competition series American Idol (2002–2010), The X Factor (2011–2013), and America's Got Talent (2016–present). Cowell is the principal, founder and chief executive of the British entertainment company Syco.

mirror.co.ukSimon Cowell has already taken “a few steps” and has begun the road to recovery, one of his closest friends has revealed. The news comes just hours after one report suggested he may not walk for many weeks after breaking his back in several places.
But in reality, the X Factor judge has already begun tentatively trying to walk just two days after his operation. His former girlfriend and close friend Terri Seymour says he is keen to get back to work full time after breaking his back and may even be on TV later this month in the US with the possibility of watching and commenting remotely from home.
Speaking on NBC, Terri said: “He actually just took a few steps. I wanted everybody to know he is doing well and he is in good spirits.
