Simon Cowell admitted that he didn't read the manual for his new electric bike before suffering a horrific accident on his first ride.

The 60-year-old X Factor boss was rushed to hospital after he fell off his new electric bike while testing it at his home in Malibu over the weekend.

The music mogul later revealed that he had broken part of his back during the accident. Sharing an update on Twitter about his fall with his 11.3 million followers, Simon had nothing but praise for the medical staff that helped him after his fall.
