Simon Phillip Cowell (born 7 October 1959) is an English television personality, businessman and record executive. He has judged on the British television talent competition series Pop Idol (2001–2003), The X Factor (2004–2010, 2014–present) and Britain's Got Talent (2007–present), and the American television talent competition series American Idol (2002–2010), The X Factor (2011–2013), and America's Got Talent (2016–present). Cowell is the principal, founder and chief executive of the British entertainment company Syco.

Simon Cowell has been left 'broken and betrayed' by the X Factor stars lashing out at the ITV show and their former boss in recent weeks.

Jedward led the charge as they launched a Twitter tirade against Cowell, admitting they regret not telling him to 'f** off' and describing him as 'nothing but a bad face lift'. "Every contestant was a slave to the show and got paid zero while they made millions," they fired in a series of tweets directed at the reality series.

The pop duo also condemned the music industry in general calling it 'corrupt' and saying 'nobody cares about the artist's mental health.' After the allegations, it wasn't long before other former stars of the singing show came forward with complaints.
