A former entrepreneurial spark graduate eyes further growth after celebrating the 10-year anniversary of his luxury kitchen business.
Alan Macgregor, established Silver Birch Interiors (SBI) in Hamilton back in 2014 following the completion of his Entrepreneurial Spark programme which gave him the support to build a business plan and identity for SBI, before securing a £25,000 loan from The Princes Trust to accelerate its growth plans.
During the last 10 years, Alan has grown his business to over 16 employees, increased revenue year on year with the last three at an average increase of 44 per cent, has been a four-time winner of Scotland’s Best Kitchen Company (2017, 2018, 2022, 2023) and progressed from working with individual clients refurbing their own homes to securing contracts with a variety of established developers, notably forming a strong relationship with Cala Homes, one of Scotland’s largest developers.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
