Si King has shared his first message since announcing the tragic death of his co-star and beloved friend Dave Myers. The much-loved TV chef died at the age of 66 last month after a brave battle against cancer.
Best friend Si announced the sad news in a heartbreaking message shared on social media, in which he confirmed he, Dave's wife Liliana Orzac, his family and close friend David were all by his side as he sadly passed on February 28.
It was decided after his death that Dave and Si's latest cookery series, Hairy Bikers Go West, would continue to air in his memory and the final episode of the series left viewers in tears last week as it marked Dave's last onscreen appearance in emotional scenes. The 61-year-old took to social media to give an update on the future of The Hairy Bikers. He posted a picture of himself and the Barrow-born host to Instagram and reminded fans that the duo had been nominated for a Fortnum & Mason Food Personality of the Year Award.
