'Shouts' were heard during a horror stabbing incident that unfolded as parents picked up their children from school on Wednesday afternoon (September 25).
Armed officers and paramedics swarmed Hawk Road, in Irlam, at around 2.30pm to reports of a stabbing. The area quickly became flooded with emergency crews, to the shock of parents who had arrived to collect their children from two schools nearby.
A car was seen with smashed windows after the violent incident which left two men in hospital. The nature of their injuries has not yet been confirmed by police.
