Shotts boss John McKeown says his side will dare to dream of glory as they head back into Junior Cup action this weekend at home to Benburb. The Bonny have won the competition twice before - in 1957/58 and 2011/12 - and host their Premier Division rivals on Saturday in a third round tie.McKeown’s men will go into the game a bit cold after seeing their South Challenge Cup third round tie with Albion Rovers called off late on at the weekend. They have tasted success over Benburb already with a 2-0 league win in August, but The Bens are now under new management.McKeown said: “In my time at Shotts we’ve done well in the cups.

We’ve been to the quarter-finals of the Junior Cup a couple of times and the semi-finals of the West Cup.“I’d love to go a wee step further this season.

You can only dream when it is a big competition like this and we’ll be really looking forward to it.“It is a team from our own league so we know it will be a tough game.

We beat them in August but they’ve had a change of management since then. They’ve got the Winters brothers [Robbie and David] in now.
