Let's face it: summer is officially over. Which means the days are beginning to get shorter, it's starting to get darker earlier, and the worst of all, it's about to get a whole lot colder.

Something that many people may be getting worried about amid the current cost of living crisis. However, Dunelm's latest offering - a 'Cosy and Warm Electric Blanket' that shoppers can buy for as little as £22 here - has been making headlines thanks to its low retail price but even cheaper running costs.

According to the description, the blanket is made from 100% polyester, has three heated settings "to suit your heat preference", plus elasticated straps that can fit around your mattress "allowing you an uninterrupted night sleep." As per the Dunelm website, shoppers will also be able to run the blanket from just 1p an hour too, which is a heavy relief for many.The electric blanket is available in three different sizes: single (65cm x 135cm), double (120cm x 135cm) and king size (142cm x 150cm), with the prices slightly increasing as the sizes go up.

Not to worry though, as the most expensive costs just £34. Thanks to the low prices all round, it's no surprise that plenty of shoppers have gone wild over the product.
