A popular event has returned to a Lanarkshire supermarket raising cash for a local foodbank. Aldi in Hamilton hosted its Supermarket Sweep on Saturday as one chosen shopper went wild down the aisles for charity.

The competition has proved popular amongst Lanarkshire shoppers in recent years with one Supermarket Sweep event also taking place in Rutherglen last year.
