GAVIN & Stacey’s Christmas special was a big hit but fans were disappointed Sheridan Smith was missing. However, Sheridan — who played Rudi, the loudmouth sister of James Corden’s Smithy in the BBC comedy — insists there are no hard feelings.
And she says she would jump at the chance to return opposite show co-creator James, who is her real-life ex. She said: “I’d definitely come back for a series. “I’m not in touch with James — he lives in America. “If I saw him here, we’d hug. “I’ve got a lot of love for him but we don’t see each other.” Sheridan is seven months pregnant, expecting a baby boy with fiance Jamie Horn, but can’t wait to get back to work.
