Sheffield United boss Paul Heckingbottom says he is “not too concerned” about Tommy Doyle’s recovery after the Manchester City youngster sustained a thigh tear with just days to go before the start of the Championship season.
The 20-year-old secured a season-long loan at the Blades earlier this month after a successful spell at Cardiff City last term.
The midfielder sustained the injury shortly after arriving at Bramall Lane. Doyle is set to miss Monday’s visit to Watford and most likely the following match against Millwall.
