A man who died after being hit by a car that drove through a crowd has been named. Christian Marriot was described as a "Good Samaritan" who "had stepped in to help a stranger in their time of need".
Christan was out for a post-Christmas walk with his wife and two sons, aged eight and six, when he went to give first aid to a woman after an altercation between a group of people kicked off.
Residents near the scene of the incident said violence broke out following a family row.
