A vulnerable woman who was ‘treated worse than a dog’ while being exploited by a pimp was kidnapped after she received help.
Jean Marinel Mihai, 29, and Florentina Doina Urmuz, 27, both face jail over their roles in the appalling treatment of the woman, who was treated as ‘little more than a money making asset’ for years.
She was ‘put to work’ as a sex worker in Manchester after being trafficked into the country by Mihai, Manchester Crown Court heard.
After she began to receive assistance and alternative accommodation, the woman was kidnapped off the street by Urmuz. The pair are due to face justice tomorrow.
