A grieving mum has paid a heart-wrenching tribute to her daughter who died at just five weeks old, calling her a 'perfect baby' who she 'loved so much'.

The tragic death of Lily Moister was examined at an inquest held into her death. A coroner was told Lily's mum, Stephanie Moister, breastfed her at around 11pm on March 13, 2021, before they both fell asleep on a sofa in the front room of their home in Mosley Common, near Worsley.

The inquest heard when Stephanie woke up, little Lily was 'unresponsive'. Advised by paramedics, she carried out CPR which continued at Salford Royal Hospital but sadly, Lily couldn't be saved. Giving evidence Stephanie, who has five other young children, said: "There wasn't a mark on her body. She was perfect. I looked after her like I did all the others.
