A woman set up a fundraiser for her mum's funeral - before pocketing the donations herself. Danielle Kelly set up a Go Fund Me page after her mum died on May 9 last year, Stoke-on-Trent Live reports.
She asked people to donate to help towards the funeral costs. Donations flooded in with one woman pledging £1,000 to the fundraiser on June 30 and Kelly's uncle also stumping up £1,000.
But the jobless 28-year-old spent the cash on 'rent, bills and living costs' instead of giving her loved-one a send-off. She then lied to her relatives about where the money had gone.
