Cynthia Erivo does NOT like your fan edits! Or wait… She does? Maybe?! It’s clearly a fine line for her! In preparation for the release of Wicked next month, Universal Pictures just dropped a poster of Cynthia’s character Elphaba and Ariana Grande’s character Glinda.

See it (below): It CLEARLY draws inspiration from the poster for the original Broadway musical, but just has a few minor differences… See the OG (below): But while the differences may have been subtle, they’re apparently very important to Cynthia! A photo has been circulating around the web of a fan’s redesign of the movie poster to make it look more like the Broadway poster.

You can see (below): And while it may have been done in the spirit of good ol’ fun and love for the Broadway production, Cynthia is FUMING over it!

On Wednesday, she took to Instagram with a SCATHING message about how the redesign is the “wildest” and “most offensive” thing.
