The family of a 30-year-old woman who was killed after being hit by a car in Bury have described her as the 'kindest soul' in a touching tribute for her.
The horrific crash happened on Manchester Road on the evening of October 2. A woman was rushed to hospital from the scene with 'life-threatening injuries' after being struck by a Peugeot 108 as she crossed the road, police said.
Sadly, she died in hospital on last Monday (October 7). The woman has now been named as Amy McNicholas, with her family paying tribute to 'loving daughter'. She was 'caring to everyone she knew', they added. Amy's family said: "We are heartbroken at the loss of our loving daughter Amy who tragically passed away so unexpectedly.
