Shawn Mendes unveiled some new music at SXSW. On Saturday, March 19, the Toronto-born singer-songwriter took to the stage of the Moody Amphitheater in Austin, Texas for Billboard and Samsung’s The Stage, where he introduced his new song “When You’re Gone”. Mendes saved the new song for late in his set, reported Billboard, performing the new track as his second-last in the set, which also featured his first-ever live performance of new single “It’ll Be Okay”.
