Shaughna Phillips in labour! Love Islander in hospital dash for baby's imminent arrival

Pregnant former Love Island star Shaughna Phillips is in the early stages of labour.The 28 year old, who is expecting her first child, took to Instagram to share a reel, which started off with her having her makeup done for a shoot before rushing to hospital.

She captioned the post: "Soooo what started as a “come to work with me” reel, turned into a “come to the hospital with me” reel. "I had my last job before baby this morning, an international women’s day panel, and just before my cab arrived, things took a turn and I was on the way to the hospital, and have been told I’m in early labour." "@annalingis went from make up artist to midwife REAL QUICK!" But Shaughna revealed that there is no baby yet, writing: "Home now, baby still tucked up nicely, and waiting for nature to do it’s thang." In the video posted to Instagram, Shaughna could be seen being primped and preened by her makeup artist, before it cut to a clip of Shaughna pulling a scared face in the back of a London taxi as she headed to the hospital.

Wearing a comfy green two-piece loungewear set, Shaughna could then be seen in a wheelchair as she was pushed by a doctor to her medical room.

The star could then be seen - still in a full face of makeup from the shoot - as she was wired up to machines that were checking on her unborn baby's progress.
