Sharon Horgan is known for her comedy skills in roles like Catastrophe and her writing prowess for the hilarious series Motherland.
Now she is showcasing her talent as an actress in a drama. The Irish star is set to appear alongside James McAvoy in an upcoming BBC film that tackles the reality of living in lockdown.
The film is set in the UK from the first days of lockdown in March 2020 until the present day. BAFTA and Emmy Award-winning director, Stephan Daldry, best known for his work on The Crown, helmed the project which Sharon dubbed a ‘wild adventure’.
The BBC drama tells the story of a husband and wife who are forced to re-evaluate who they are and their relationship during lockdown.
