John Michael "Ozzy" Osbourne (born 3 December 1948) is an English singer, songwriter, actor and television personality. He rose to prominence during the 1970s as the lead vocalist of the heavy metal band Black Sabbath, during which he adopted the nickname "The Prince of Darkness".
Osbourne was fired from the band in 1979 due to alcohol and drug problems, but he went on to have a successful solo career, releasing eleven studio albums, the first seven of which were all awarded multi-platinum certifications in the United States. Osbourne has since reunited with Black Sabbath on several occasions.
Rolling Stone, the former X Factor judge said: ‘Our film will be a lot more real. We don’t want it to be squeaky, shiny clean and all of that. ‘We’re not making it for kids, it’s an adult movie for adults.’Sharon added: ‘I hope it will be a story that everybody can relate to… it’s a story about a survivor – no matter what life throws at you, you pick yourself up and you start again.’She praised the upcoming biopic as an ‘amazing story’ of ‘overcoming everything that’s thrown at you’ and insisted it’s ‘not like any other story’.
Ozzy, meanwhile, teased that the movie will delve into his and Sharon’s 38-year long marriage, revealing how they met and the highs and lows they’ve faced together throughout the years.
