Shannen Doherty’s Ex-Husband Ashley Hamilton Calls Late Star His ‘Guardian Angel’ Following Her Death

Ashley Hamilton is mourning the death of his ex-wife Shannen Doherty. While the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum was locked in a bitter divorce battle with one of her exes in her final days, one of her other exes is speaking out about what an impact she had in his life.

In fact, he saw her as his “guardian angel.” Related: Richard Simmons’ Final Interview Offered Truly Haunting Last Words On Monday, Ashley spoke to Us Weekly about his ex-wife, to whom he was married to from 1993 to 1994, after her tragic death from cancer at just 53 years old.

He told the outlet: Awww. You can tell what total admiration he had for the late Charmed star. While its not clear which of his “darkest moments” Shannen helped him through, Ashley added that he, himself, is a cancer survivor: Sadly, though, he never reached out to her after she announced her own diagnosis.

He added: While Ashley had nothing but great things to say, it’s no secret the two had their fair share of relationship struggles back in the day.
