Shamed multi-millionaire businessman Lawrence Jones stepped down from his charity foundation after allegations surfaced. Jones, the founder of huge Manchester-based tech company UK Fast, has now been convicted of two counts of rape and one count of sexual assault following two trials at Manchester Crown Court.

It can now be revealed that the 55-year-old tycoon assaulted a woman, touching her inner thigh while asking to see her underwear.

He also 'stupefied' two young women with drugs before raping them at his flat in Salford a decade earlier in the late 1990s.

When allegations first came to light in a Financial Times investigation in 2019, Jones stepped down as UKFast CEO. He released a statement via his lawyers announcing his decision.
