Shaboozey is making his Saturday Night Live debut! The 29-year-old performer hit the SNL stage for the first time during the Paul Mescal-hosted episode on Saturday (December 8), performing his hit single “A Bar Song (Tipsy),” along with his newer country ballad, “Good News.” “A Bar Song” has become a smash, and recently tied the record set by Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road” for most weeks at No.

1 (19 weeks) on the Billboard Hot 100. It is now nominated for Song of the Year and Best Country Solo Performance at the upcoming 2025 Grammys.

He also performed “Good News,” which he just released in November, his first original song since his album arrived in the spring. Shaboozey wasn’t the only one who made their SNL debut.
