The HBO Max return of the popular US comedy drama will not see Chris Noth reprise his role, despite the character being married to Sarah Jessica Parker's Carrie Bradshaw in the previous series and subsequent film spin-offs.
Page Six has reported that 66-year-old Noth will not be part of the ten-episode series, which is being titled And Just Like That.
Mr Big proved to be Carrie Bradshaw's weak point as she agonised over dating him before they became a couple and eventually tying the knot in the 2008 film.
