'Sex and the City' Creator Candace Bushnell Celebrates Opening of Her One-Woman Play!

justjared.comCandace Bushnell, the creator of Sex and the City, just opened her one-woman play in New York City!
The best-selling author’s book “Sex and the City” was published in 1997 and it was turned into an HBO series one year later. Candace was joined by friend Brooke Shields and the Sex and the City TV show’s creator Darren Star at the opening night performance of Is There Still Sex in the City on Tuesday night (December 7) at the Daryl Roth Theater in New York City.
Also in attendance at the opening night were Martha Stewart, Andrew McCarthy, Madam Secretary‘s Erich Bergen, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit‘s Stephanie March, and Real Housewives of New York City‘s Kelly Bensimon.
