September 11, 2001 is a day the world will always remember. So many lives were lost during the devastating acts of terrorism that took place 22 years ago as the World Trade Center and other locations in the USA were attacked.

To date, the attack is the deadliest terrorist attack in human history. A few celebrities have come forward and revealed they were almost on the airplanes that were used as weapons, or were almost stationed in the World Trade Center that morning.

In total, the 9/11 attacks killed 2,996 people, and injured thousands more.
