A seven year manhunt is finally over after baby-faced murder suspect David Ungi was found and arrested in Spain. Ungi, now 30, was caught and arrested after venturing into a gym at a shopping centre in Coin, Malaga on Thursday evening.

Spanish authorities, the National Crime Agency, Merseyside Police and the North West Regional Organised Crime Unit all worked together to detain the murder suspect.

The suspect disappeared seven years ago, last seen leaving the UK on a ferry less than 24 hours after 18-year-old Vinny Waddington was murdered in a street execution.

Vinny was hit with a single shotgun blast on Banks Road, Garston in Liverpool, as he rode pillion on a scrambler bike on July 14, 2015, reports the Liverpool ECHO.
