The Indianapolis police department reports that 'multiple people were shot' by Circle Centre mall in the downtown area shortly after 11.30pm prompting a mass evacuation.An alert issued by the Citizen app alleges that five teenagers were struck by gunfire.
IMPD later confirmed they found seven people with gunshot wounds ranging from ages 12-17. All victims are stable, reports the Mirror.Officers responded to Illinois Street and Maryland Street on reports of a person shot.

Police and medics surrounded the mall.The shooting appears to have happened outside a T-Mobile in the Circle Centre Mall in downtown Indianapolis, according to social media.
