A self-proclaimed “serial killer” will be spending the rest of his life in prison after a judge came down on him on Halloween.
That date is rather fitting considering the name he gave himself… Joshua Dotson was charged with two counts of first-degree murder after fatally shooting his 19-year-old girlfriend Jamesha Covson and her unborn child in Memphis, Tennessee in 2020.
According to the Shelby County District Attorney’s Office, he shot the teen after an “argument about a Facebook post and her pregnancy,” then posted a memorial on the social media platform — which the DA believes was “a calculated attempt to distance himself from the crime.” Related: Menendez Brothers Could Get Out SOON!
Hearing Date Set For… He was taken into custody and during his trial, took the stand in how own defense, where according to Fox 13, he admitted “I’m a serial killer.” He then reportedly claimed he killed Jamesha for “for snitching on him,” and eerily in reference to the Halloween horror series, he told the court: Terrifying… It only took the jury 45 minutes to deliberate before finding him guilty of the charges.
