I’m good, I’m really good now. I can breathe, I can stop, I’m not hiding but… yeah.” The seven time Wimbledon champion, who last year revealed that Prince Harry helped with her decision to retire from tennis, wore a monochromatic Gucci outfit with Art Deco-inspired detailing on the skirt, with multiple strings of pearls around her neck and a layered pearl headband.
Her husband Alexis Ohanian, 40, sported a classic black tuxedo. Serena and Alex, who got married back in November 2017 are already parents to five year old daughter, Olympia.
US supermodel Karlie Kloss also announced she was expecting at the event, this year a tribute to the late fashoin designer Karl Lagerfeld, who died in February 2019 aged 85.The supermodel, best known for her work with US lingerie brand Victoria's Secret, rocked a Loewe outfit designed by Northern Irish fashion designer Jonathan Anderson, with her black gown featuring Karl Lagerfeld’s signature strings of pearls, with a trompe-l’oeil design giving a modern, surrealist edge.
