Along with Iger, investors in the consortium include eBay and Rich Paul, CEO and founder of Klutch Sports Group and UTA’s head of sports.Shares of Funko shot up more than 40% in after-hours trading on the investment news as well as Funko’s first-quarter 2022 earnings report topping Wall Street expectations.“We believe Funko is significantly undervalued in the public markets and at this highly attractive entry price provides a runway of opportunity and growth potential,” Peter Chernin said in a statement.

Doctor Strange In the Multiverse of Madness introduces a major new character to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.After the end of the sequel in which Strange, played by Benedict Cumberbatch, saves the day, he is interrupted by a new arrival in the MCU.The character is played by Charlize Theron, and invites Strange on a new mission after telling him he “caused an incursion and we’re going to fix it… unless you’re afraid”.Theron’s casting had been kept under wraps, as she is playing Clea, a major love interest for Strange from the comic books.Clea first appeared in Strange Tales #126. She is the daughter of Prince Orini, who is the heir to the Dark Dimension, and Dormammu’s sister, Umar.She met Strange when he first went to battle Dormammu in the Dark Dimension when he was trying to conquer Earth, where Clea teamed up with Strange to save the planet and ended up moving to Earth with him.The Dormammu narrative was cut short in the MCU films as Strange defeated the villain in the first film.

Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two presenter Rylan Clark has admitted he is keen to see Big Brother come back, as it “changed his life”. Rylan spoke to Express.co.uk about how the show had given him both a “career and a husband” at the Boots No7 Pro Derm Scan launch party on Tuesday.Rylan, 33, has been a part of some of the UK’s biggest reality shows over the years. Starting his career ten years ago on the ninth series of The X Factor, Rylan has recently revealed that he will be releasing a book entitled 10 to celebrate a decade of working in the showbiz industry. The star won the 11th series of Celebrity Big Brother the following year in 2013, which launched his career as a presenter in shows like Big Brother's Bit on the Side, This Morning and The Xtra Factor.Celebrity Big Brother was also where the Radio 2 DJ met husband Dan Neal, with whom he split from last June after six years of marriage. When asked about which of his many TV show gigs was his favourite, Rylan was decisive with his answer. “Big Brother,” he replied quickly.
