Senior residents in North Lanarkshire were treated to and early Christmas lunch recently courtesy of the local authority and its maintenance and repairs partner.Festive cheer was delivered to members of the community when Mears Scotland LLP in partnership with North Lanarkshire Council, hosted its annual festive feast at New College Lanarkshire’s campus in Motherwell.Since 2014, Mears has been bringing the local community together to enjoy festive food cooked and served by students.

Guests tucked in to a three-course lunch with coffee and mince pies and finished off the festivities by opening a personalised Christmas gift.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
