Before heading out for the night, Selena dumps her fling with a Post-it note – just like how Jack Berger (Ron Livingston) split up with Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) in Sex & the City. “I’m sorry I can’t Don’t hate Me,” Selena writes on the Post-it, leaving it behind for her ex to find.
Before releasing the single, Selena teased the song on Instagram, referencing another moment from Sex & the City.
