Selena Gomez drifts away from Chris Martin in Coldplay‘s brand new music video for “Letting Somebody Go”.

The video looks like an M.C. Escher drawing come to life as Selena and Chris are both flipped upside down and inside out after sharing a hug, as they prepare to go on with their separate lives. “All the storms we weathered/ Everything that we went through/ Now, without you, what on earth am I to do?/ When I called the mathematicians and I ask them to explain/ They said love is only equal to the pain,” Selena sings in her verse of the song.
