Inspirational individuals and organisations who do incredible things could benefit from National Lottery funding. A whopping £2,497,124 went to projects in South Lanarkshire in 2021/22, according to new figures, to mark the start of the 2023 National Lottery Awards season. A total of 78 grants were awarded in the area, providing crucial support to arts, sports, heritage and community organisations, helping communities tackle challenges around cost of living pressures.The National Lottery Awards are the annual celebration of the ordinary people and projects who do extraordinary things with the help of funding and attracted more than 1300 entrants last year.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
