The fallout from Sean ‘Diddy‘ Combs assault on his former girlfriend and allegations of sexual misconduct from other women continues.
New York City Mayor Eric Adams has revoked Combs’s key to NYC, informing him via a June 4 letter of the order. The item is given to “individuals whose service to the public and the common good rises to the highest level of achievement, and who act as a model for fellow and future New Yorkers,” according to nyc.gov.
The key has since been been returned, according to Fabien Levy, deputy mayor for communications. “I strongly condemn these actions and stand in solidarity with all survivors of domestic and gender-based violence.
Our city has worked tirelessly to make sure survivors are heard and seen by our administration,” Adams wrote in the letter. The New York revocation is the latest honor stripped from Diddy after CNN surfaced surveillance video of Combs kicking R&B singer Cassie Ventura in 2016.
