'Scream 7' Gets a Release Date!
justjared.comScream 7 is officially on the calendar! The seventh installment in the hit horror series is set to arrive in theaters on February 27, 2026, the team behind the project confirmed on Tuesday (October 1).
The release date comes after production delays, creative overhauls, and controversial cast shakeups. The announcement was made on social media by Neve Campbell, who plays Sidney Prescott, and is returning to the series after departing for Scream 6 due to a salary dispute. No other movies are currently scheduled for that release date in 2026. At least one major name in the franchise has not yet signed on for the seventh movie.
