Neve Campbell and director Kevin Williamson just made it official on social: Scream 7 is opening on Feb. 27, 2026. Currently, that’s the only wide release on that date.
Earlier in the month, no Feb. 13, 2026, Disney has the weekend on hold for an untitled Marvel Studios movie. And that’s a global date for the Spyglass Media and Paramount feature.
It’s the third Scream feature for Spyglass which owns the Dimension library. As previously reported, Scream & Scream VI star Melissa Barrera is not coming back after getting fired from the film for her pro-Palestinian comments.
Box office megastar Jenna Ortega who helped lift Scream 6 to the biggest opening ever at $44.4M stateside couldn’t commit to the seventhquel due to her Wednesday production schedule.
