Sometimes, though, nothing can top a classic road trip.A new study conducted by InsureandGo has revealed which of the world's most famous road trips offers the most action per mile.
Coming in at number seven on the global list is the Highland Tourist Route in Scotland.Starting in Aberdeen and ending in Inverness, the route is 116 miles long and includes around three hours of driving time.
According to the experts, it has more than nine attractions for every 10 miles on average. Among the highlights of the Highland Tourist Route are historic sites such as the Culloden Battlefield, Fort George, and Cawdor Castle.
