A new role on a remote and beautiful Scottish island could be a dream job for any wildlife lovers out there. A budding Bill Odie or wannabe Michaela Strachan is needed to help take care of Handa Island's thriving population of around 100,000 breeding seabirds.Best of all, the successful candidate will not only be able to join the team but also stay in the purpose-built Ranger’s bothy, free of charge.The Scottish Wildlife Trust is advertising for the fantastic role, with hopes to hire someone to help out on the idyllic island off the coast of Sutherland.
The charity are taking applications for the exciting Handa Island Ranger position up until January 17 at 12pm when the candidates will be selected for interviews.
